MARIAK:Thank you for joining me today Master Baas and Madam Nowa-Baas.

ANDIA NOWA-BAAS:Madam makes me sound old....but thank you for inviting us in.

JORRYN BAAS:Indeed.

MARIAK: Of course. Well. Are you both ready to begin or is there anything you would like to say to the readers of The Shining Blade first?

JORRYN BAAS:I am ready and would like to say we appreciate all the support both IC and OOC.

MARIAK:Madam Baas?

ANDIA NOWA-BAAS:The support is nice, and that's all I can think of.

JORRYN BAAS: She is multi-tasking. She even does it to the one she loves!!

MARIAK: Oh.Of course..I suppose I will start there.Would you say, Master Baas, that due to the constant bickering between yourself and your sister distances yourself form your wife?

JORRYN BAAS:I think it brings us closer. Andia knew and served Nashira. She has filled in the gaps of what I missed over the last four years. We are one in the force and in our love.

MARIAK: Madam.Same question please.

ANDIA NOWA-BAAS:Sometimes I'm quite distressed by the situation, but I suppose nothing can be done.  Though no wife can ever spend enough time with her husband to be content, I will love him no matter how much time he devotes to saving Nashira.

MARIAK: *nods*Sir.What did you mean Madam Baas multi-tasks with you?

JORRYN BAAS: That was a reference to her many talents. She is a jedi, a mother, a wife and a leader to us all.

MARIAK:Ok. Madam Baas. May I ask why you became a jedi?

ANDIA NOWA-BAAS:Well, I was raised one and never completely lost my ties to the light even though I was trying my hardest to.  But when Jorryn came to me I knew there were somethings, such as pure innocent love, that can only be found among Jedi.

JORRYN BAAS: Yes, love.

MARIAK: *looks slightly uncomfortable but shakes it off*Sir. What brought you to Madam Baas?

JORRYN BAAS: Something that we willingly embrace.It has been our gift from the force. I sensed she could not bring herself to harm me and I saw the pain in her eyes and she is beautiful as well!

MARIAK: Ma'am.Why did you try so hard not to embrace the light before you met Master Baas?

ANDIA NOWA-BAAS: I had lost someone very dear to me, and thought that through destruction I could find the peace and revenge I sought.  I was willing to let the Darkness consume me so that I did not have to feel anything anymore.I regret it now that love has healed my soul.

JORRYN BAAS: She saved me as well.

MARIAK: *looks down at hands* If you'll excuse me for a moment please...*leaves room abruptly*

ANDIA NOWA-BAAS:Hm....how should we embarrass her next?  *She giggles innocently, smiling at her husband*

JORRYN BAAS: *off the record* We play a good loving couple, almost as if it was real.

MARIAK: *comes back into the room looking abit less pale* I'm sorry. Now..um..back to the questions.

ANDIA NOWA-BAAS: Are you feeling alright, dear?

MARIAK: Umm..I'm fine.*nods head*Sir..umm.did you ever aspire to any other course in life other than being a jedi?

JORRYN BAAS: I was never given a choice with the prophecy. All my life it has been a burden, one I interpretated incorrectly and if not for Andia, I would be like my sister, dark, evil and spiteful, a being without morals.

MARIAK: Joy. How exactly did you originally interpret it?

JORRYN BAAS: That I must save all from Nashira, the Yuuzhan Vong and Sedriss.Yet that was folly. A jedi abandons self importance. My loving wife showed me that and now I seek to lead merely by example. If we fall in this war, I will fall as a jedi.

MARIAK: *looks at ground*I don't think you of all people will fall before the end. There is too much to be said and done for both you and Madam Baas.*shakes head*Anyway.

JORRYN BAAS: All rests upon the decision of my sister....

MARIAK: Yes.

JORRYN BAAS: But my wife can speak better upon Nashira than I can.

MARIAK: Ma'am? I would like to offer my deepest condolences to you as I have heard of what happened on Yavin to your children.As to you sir.

ANDIA NOWA-BAAS: Condolences are best saved for when the battle is over....my protection goes to my children and husband before my own life, best you remember it.

MARIAK: Yes ma'am.*lowers head*I'm sorry.

ANDIA NOWA-BAAS: No, it's quite alright, dear.  Let us continue.

MARIAK: I can't really think of anything to say at the moment. I suppose, if you wish, you could use this opportunity to take a short break?*cameras shut off for the commercial break*

JORRYN BAAS: *kisses a certain woman*

MARIAK: *averts eyes* Ummm...coffee? *holds out pot while trying not to look at couple*

NASHIRA BAAS: *enters room*

MARIAK: *cameras come back on* Hello Miss Baas.

NASHIRA BAAS: Greetings.Why is she here?*glares at Andia*

MARIAK: How are-Umm...*looks at Jorryn and Andia* I just interviewed them. Would you prefer your interview be in private green room?

NASHIRA BAAS: NO.

ANDIA NOWA-BAAS: Hello....sister-in-law.

NASHIRA BAAS: They will hear what I have to say.You are not my sister in law, you stole him, and you lie to him even now.For that you will die.

MARIAK: *mumbles*This ought to be fun...

NASHIRA BAAS: She is no jedi...She has pain in her heart and rage in her soul. She is a fraud.

MARIAK: Will you please refrain from the death threats during the interview?How is she a fraud? Because she has found love?

ANDIA NOWA-BAAS: I love your brother, and know I could become close to you as well, Nashira.

NASHIRA BAAS: Because she betrayed her true passion....Because she believes in a false prophecy.And because she killed for me.That is why I killed those abominations in her womb.

MARIAK: This may just be an observation..but isnt ones passion based upon ones sole opinion and values so hence they cannot be defied as betrayed by another person?

NASHIRA BAAS:Do you know anything but the platitudes my brother has told you child? It would be wise for you to watch what you say to me.

MARIAK: *narrows eyes*Children..babies are the epitomy of innocence...never refer to them as abominations.

NASHIRA BAAS: They are dead now. A gift from me for her betrayal of our way.

MARIAK: *closes eyes and tries to calm down*

ANDIA NOWA-BAAS:Calm yourself dear.  Her words are based off of what she believes, thus she speaks strongly, if not always accurately.

NASHIRA BAAS: What is wrong sister in law? Afraid? As my weak brother?

JORRYN BAAS: It is my fault.....

ANDIA NOWA-BAAS: Afraid of you, no.  Afraid of what you may do, yes.  You can return as I have, and embrace the light once more.

NASHIRA BAAS: My father once thought as you did....as did my brother, which is why he lost his arm.

MARIAK: What? Do not blame youself please master.

NASHIRA BAAS: There is no return for those who were lied to..and decieved. Correct sister in law?

MARIAK: *looks at ground and finishes the sentence in her own mind 'or who have lied to those who trusted her...' *Hmm..*starts making tea while the family talks*

JORRYN BAAS:She is correct...it was my fault....I will not give up on you Nashira.

ANDIA NOWA-BAAS:   There is never a way to completely return, but one can be strong enough to fight temptation.  Are you so weak as to remain in the Dark, Nashira?  Perhaps we best let this young lady continue her interview.

NASHIRA BAAS: Proceed.

MARIAK: *a tear escapes Mariaks eye but she quickly wipes it away before anyone else can notice.*Thanks so much.*pours tea for Nashira.*Honey?

NASHIRA BAAS: No.

MARIAK: Very well.  Why did you become a sith? Why did you reject the light side of the force?

NASHIRA BAAS: The lightside of the force is for those with no vision. My father is an prime example. Powerful and wise yet in the end he fell to Lord Spwanblade with ease. A true force user embraces passion and power. Those who stand idly by are extinct.Those who fight will live and rule.The lightside was false, teaching of a prophecy.....a lie.

MARIAK: Miss Baas. Which is easier? Embracing passion and power.Or controlling it?

NASHIRA BAAS: I am dark lord. I control lives, destinies and I alone control my destiny. Not some prophecy of legend. I am no fool like my father and this whelp.

MARIAK:If you control yours and others lives, then why did you give into the angry passion in your own life? Is that not a sign of weakness? Is that really how you define control? The ability to destroy others is no unordinary feat. Why do you feel such stregnth in such weak foundations?

NASHIRA BAAS: My life is special, not because of tales but because of strength. Lord Sedriss showed me the way of the true sith, gods among men who shaped the lives of all they touched.That is not weakness.

MARIAK: Shaped then destroyed. Power is too easily gotten by way of the blade.All that comes of such ways are death.

NASHIRA BAAS: But not mine. In my empire the strong survive and the weak serve.

MARIAK: Who do you see as strong? Well?

NASHIRA BAAS: I am strong... they are weak,see who runs and who fights.

ANDIA NOWA-BAAS:You do not seem so confident, sister in law.  Perhaps you see her point?

NASHIRA BAAS: Shut up %itch! You know nothing of my loss....HE DOES!!

MARIAK: Watch your language please.

NASHIRA BAAS: Get on with this..

MARIAK: Do you have a goal in life?

NASHIRA BAAS: My goal is too right the wrong the jedi have caused and stop these Yuuzhan Vong.

MARIAK: I wasn't aware that you cared for the other people of the galaxy.

NASHIRA BAAS:I don't.They seek to destroy my way of life.I will not allow it.

MARIAK:You think you can stop then alone?

NASHIRA BAAS:I will.....while the jedi hide.

MARIAK: *blinking mariak stands up and refills jorryns and andias tescups* You seem so keen to speak of others natures... What would make you think a Jedi would hide in the face of adversary other than to protect those who would find themselves threatened by beings such as yourself?

NASHIRA BAAS: Look at her. She is a jedi? She is a liar. Her deception has even ensnared him. A man who has ruined his whole life.

MARIAK: *looks innocently at Jorryn*Has Madam Baas ruined your life?

ANDIA NOWA-BAAS: I do think my sister-in-law isn't fond of me....I do not lie any longer, my intentions are pure.

NASHIRA BAAS: HE HAS RUINED MINE!!!!!!!

JORRYN BAAS: I am sorry Nashira....I did not mean to hurt you.....

MARIAK: * ' why do i feel like im on a soap opera?' *

JORRYN BAAS: * ' These are the days of our lives.....As the Baas turns!!' *

MARIAK: *flinches*Please sir. That was a private thought.*yawns*Still..it was funny.*looks pointedly at nashira*Obviously the sense of humor isnt hereditary...

NASHIRA BAAS: The day will come Jorryn Baas when either you or I are dead.....*leaves room*

MARIAK: OOO...KKK.... Umm..thanks for your time.*nods to the two*

ANDIA NOWA-BAAS:Of course, dear.  I would be careful walking home if I were you.

MARIAK: Thanks. Though I plan on catching a ship back to the Eclipse shortly.*bows*Sir.
